Calling

I cannot carry the world. 

But You can. 

I cannot hold the weight
of desire and grief 
and making it all right. 

But You do. 

I do not need to lead
a revolution 
or shout my own name 
from the rooftops
or seek approval
wherever I go. 

My calling is simple:
to join You
at work in this world.  

To follow As You Walk
and Rest in Your Presence.

To trust
You carry it all,
and You carry
me too.

To honor
this Gift
of You 
calling
me. 

You are the One
Who Gives Life. 

In you 
I find myself. 
I find This Life. 
I find myself living.
