Happy New Year
Hello 2026. I’m grateful you’re here. You came a little quickly, if I’m honest. But time seems to do that these days. I’ve learned enough now in this life of mine to understand you’re gonna hold it all—the good, the hard, the old, the new, things I love—and things that require a whole lot of grace and mercy. Isn’t that the complex, mysterious beauty of life? So I’m sure you’ll understand, in these first new days of January, that my heart doesn’t need the striving or the ambitious goal setting or anything else that pulls me in a hundred directions. I need One Thing. I need God Who Stays. As long as I have Him, I’m gonna be okay. So I greet you with calm anticipation and quiet determination to do what I can and appreciate the days you bring. And Lord, to You I offer what is in my hands and heart—the good, the bad, and all the rest—with hopeful trust and quiet confidence that You will be in 2026 the One You’ve always been—Keeper Of My Heart, Holder Of My Days, and the One I trust to guide me through it all. Hello 2026. I’m grateful you’re here.

💛💛
I’m grateful for you!
